As Supplier Manager Quality Assurance, your key responsibilities include:
- Lead a team of specialists that develop and foster relationships with our suppliers
- Maintain supplier quality policies/clauses and perform vendor development in order to achieve and sustain high levels of supply chain performance
- Ensure that all supplier non-conformities are thoroughly documented, investigated, and addressed in a timely manner, in accordance with company procedures and quality standards.
- Establish and manage suppliers audit schedule, perform external audit and train auditors
- Manage Supply Chain key metrics (Quality, Delivery, performance indicators…) and mitigate risk
- Investigate new developments relative to material and supplies, and provide recommendations to reduce cost and improve quality, while meeting all requirements
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any other relevant field. Equivalent combination of education and experience are also accepted
- Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, including a minimum four (4) years of related experience in Supplier Quality Management.
- Knowledge of AS9100 or ISO9001 Quality Management Systems
- Experience in managing people
- Valid driver’s license and available to travel (approximately 25% of the time)
- Good oral and written communication skills (English, French)
- Masters suite Office, Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.
