You will have the opportunity to build the cybersecurity practice at CMC. You will play a central role combining day-to-day operational responsibilities for managing the cybersecurity of information systems, as well as GRC activities to ensure compliance with applicable national and international regulations. You will also lead a team of cybersecurity integrators and act as the primary cybersecurity advisor across the organization.

 

 

As the Manager, IT Security Architect, you will be responsible for:

 

For governance, risk and compliance (GRC):

 

  • Ensuring that all projects, IT systems, and security architectures and configurations comply with applicable regulatory requirements
  • Developing and maintaining the security policy, conducting environmental audits to maintain corporate compliance
  • Implementing procedures and methods for auditing and addressing non-compliance with information security standards
  • Overseeing changes to maintain compliant environments.
  • Participating in the design and execution of vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits.
  • Liaising with external and internal auditors.

 

For Cybersecurity Management

 

  • Developing and implementing policies and practices to maintain a secure environment
  • Managing IT security analyses to ensure all applications are functional and secure
  • Working closely with the SOC to ensure its performance and responsiveness
  • Maintaining a technological watch in cybersecurity and propose improvements
  • Supervising and interacting with IT security contractors in service delivery
  • Developing and reviewing security architectures for complex systems
  • Managing security incidents and non-conformities through to resolution in collaboration with system administrators
  • Developing and leading a security training and awareness program for IT staff and the entire organization

 

 

To excel in this role, you must have:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role (cybersecurity only)
  • Proficiency in cybersecurity frameworks (compliance and security)
  • Proficiency in security software (antimalware, firewalls, EDR, IDS, IPS, etc.)
  • Excellent knowledge of network systems, virtualization, storage, and cloud computing
  • Proficiency in applicable data privacy and protection practices and laws
  • Knowledge of law enforcement practices and procedures, such as CGP, ITAR, NIST, DFARS, CCPA/GDPR, and other regulations. (One or the other)
  • Bilingualism in French and English
  • Experience in team management
  • CISSP and/or NCSP certification
  • Experience in IT auditing (internal and external)
  • Bilingualism in French and English, both written and spoken
