Nous sommes à la recherche d’un Analyste de fabrication pratique (Spécialiste des procédés matériaux/peinture) pour se joindre à une équipe multidisciplinaire axée sur l’optimisation de la performance manufacturière. Le candidat retenu jouera un rôle clé dans l’analyse, les essais et l’amélioration des procédés liés au mélange, à l’application et à la transformation des matériaux — tout en assurant la qualité, la constance et l’efficacité tout au long de la production.

Vous collaborerez étroitement avec les équipes d’ingénierie et de production afin d’évaluer l’impact des variables de procédé sur les résultats finaux du produit. Cela inclut l’analyse des effets liés à l’équipement, à la ventilation, aux activités de masquage/démasquage, à l’application robotisée, aux temps de séchage, aux méthodes de mélange, ainsi que la participation à la prise de décisions basée sur des données, par le biais d’expérimentations et d’analyses de causes racines. Ce poste vous amènera également à optimiser des procédés connexes tels que la peinture, l’usinage, la gravure laser, l’assemblage, et plus encore.

Il s’agit d’un rôle très technique qui exige une curiosité scientifique, de solides compétences en communication, ainsi qu’une capacité à interagir directement avec divers intervenants. Vous serez responsable de documenter votre démarche, depuis la collecte des exigences jusqu’à la mise en œuvre des solutions, et de collaborer avec différentes fonctions pour soutenir à la fois les objectifs de production immédiats et les initiatives d’amélioration continue à plus long terme.

En tant que spécialiste de produit, vous jouerez un rôle clé dans la performance de notre ligne de production. Vos missions incluront :

• Assurer un soutien technique constant à l’équipe de production et d’ingénierie manufacturière.
• Piloter des projets pour l’intégration de nouveaux équipements, de la sélection à la mise en service.
• Analyser les données de production pour améliorer la qualité et l’efficacité des procédés d’assemblage.
• Concevoir des outillages sur mesure et faire le suivi de leur fabrication.
• Mener des initiatives d’amélioration continue et optimiser les processus existants.
• Évaluer la performance de production et proposer des solutions concrètes et innovantes.

Profil recherché

Formation et expérience

• Baccalauréat en Génie Mécanique ou dans une discipline connexe du génie.
• Minimum 10 ans d’expérience pertinente en environnement manufacturier.

Compétences techniques

• Connaissance des procédés de fabrication (Application de peinture, Usinage) – Un exigence
  • Expertise en techniques d’application : pulvérisation (airless, HVLP), trempage, électrodéposition, etc.
  • Réglage et optimisation des paramètres de pulvérisation (pression, débit, viscosité, température).
  • Compréhension approfondie des revêtements (peintures, apprêts, vernis) : types, propriétés, compatibilités.
  • Connaissance des normes de performance (adhérence, résistance chimique, corrosion, abrasion, etc.).
  • Maîtrise des fiches techniques et fiches de données de sécurité (FDS/SDS).
• Une bonne base en physique appliqué, inspection optique. – un aout
• Maîtrise d’un logiciel de conception (idéalement SolidWorks).
• Capacité à former les opérateurs et à rédiger des instructions de travail
• Bonne maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office et de l’environnement Windows.
• Expérience en milieu Lean Manufacturing.

We are seeking a hands-on Materials/Paint Processing Specialist to join a cross-functional team focused on optimizing  manufacturing performance. The successful candidate will play a key role in analyzing, testing, and improving how materials are mixed, applied, and transformed —ensuring quality, consistency, and efficiency throughout production.

You’ll work closely with engineering and production teams to assess the impact of process variables on final product outcomes. This includes evaluating implications of factors such as equipment, ventilation, masking/unmasking activities, robot application, drying times, mixing methods, and contributing to data-driven decision-making through experimentation and root cause analysis. In this position, you will be involved in optimization of closely related processes such as painting, machining, laser etching, assembly and more.

This is a highly technical, role that requires scientific curiosity, strong communication skills, and the ability to interact directly with various stakeholders. You’ll be expected to document your approach from requirements gathering through solution implementation and to collaborate across functions to support both immediate production goals and longer-term continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Responsibilities

As a Product Specialist, you will play a key role in the performance of our production line. Your responsibilities will include:

What We’re Looking For

Education & Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of electromechanical manufacturing processes (SMT, PCB) – an asset.

• Proficiency in CAD software (ideally SolidWorks).

• Strong command of Microsoft Office suite and Windows environment.

Profile Sought

Education and Experience

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes (paint application, machining) – required
  • Expertise in application techniques: spraying (airless, HVLP), dipping, electrodeposition, etc.
  • Adjustment and optimization of spray parameters (pressure, flow rate, viscosity, temperature)
  • In-depth understanding of coatings (paints, primers, varnishes): types, properties, compatibility
  • Knowledge of performance standards (adhesion, chemical resistance, corrosion, abrasion, etc.)
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical data sheets and safety data sheets (TDS/SDS)
• Solid foundation in applied physics and optical inspection – an asset
• Proficiency in CAD software (ideally SolidWorks)
• Ability to train operators and write clear work instructions
• Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite and the Windows environment
• Experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment
