Hardware Quality Engineer

Reporting to Airworthiness and Quality Engineering group, you will be responsible for conducting quality, qualification and reliability related activities on various avionics systems

 

As a Analyst - Hardware Quality  your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare qualification test plans, procedures and reports lAW Company standards and contract requ irements.
  • Take the lead of a multidisciplinary team to support qualification testing and achieve the objectives within cost and schedule
  • Conduct, monitor and witness qualification/verification and acceptance testing for internal products and products supplied by vendors. Ensure that all requirements of product specifications are being successfully met.
  • Participate in preparation of safety, reliability and maintainability analysis.
  • Participate in proposals, review contract requirements and product specifications, evaluate risks and provide cost estimates and schedules to qualify a developmental item lAW RTCA and military standards and product specifications.
  • Support internal and internal quality audits
  • Support/participate in process improvements.
  • Participate in the preparation of production test and inspection plan
  • Support Failure analysis and ensure corrective actions.
  • Participate in technical reviews within the company and with customers and vendors,
  • Communicate with customers and vendors to ensure that all activities and requirements of the qualification testing are being conducted satisfactorily.

 

To join our team, you must:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering;
  • Possess at least 2-3 years of relevant experience preferably in a high- technology aerospace environment;
  • Good communication and technical writing skills; and technical expertise in:
  • RTCA-DO-160, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, MIL-HDBK-217 & SAE ARP 4761
  • Electrical and electronics systems.
