As a Product Development Manager, your responsibilities include:

 

  • Identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, developing, and maintaining an active pipeline aligned with the business unit’s strategy and objectives.
  • Monitoring industry trends and customer needs to anticipate market shifts and adapt business strategies accordingly.
  • Shaping product roadmaps and leading the creation of winning pricing strategies based on market insights to maximize competitiveness and profitability. 
  • Collaborating with sales, marketing, program, and engineering teams to deliver tailored solutions and product launches.
  • Tracking business development activities, forecasting performance, and ensuring timely CRM updates for transparency and accountability.
  • Traveling up to 20-30% to engage with clients and represent CMC at trade shows and industry events.

 

How to excel in this role:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in avionics software development or embedded aerospace software.
  • Proven track record in managing and leading multi-million-dollar business opportunities.
  • Strong ability to anticipate market trends.
