Bench Hand Sub-Assembly (IDP)

The Bench Hand Sub-Assembly (IDP) works under the normal supervision of the Charge Hand or a supervisor. He/she performs a series of standard operations involving setting up and operating equipment in panel manufacturing shop.

As a Bench Hand Sub-Assembly (IDP), your key responsibilities include:

  • Standard operations which involve setting up and operating the following : rotor, milling, drill press, ultra sonic inserter and occasionally radial saw and sandblast;
  • Checks own work using precision tools such as callipers, micrometers, etc.;
  • May perform assembly and spot face work as required;
  • Performs any other related tasks as assigned.

To join our team, you must have:

  • Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three (3) months of previous experience with acrylic work. 

To excel in this role, you must :

  • Be familar with the use of drawings, simple shop arithmetic and a variety of precision measuring instruments.
