Program management office director

You will oversee a team of program managers, driving the execution of the business unit's plan at both strategic and operational levels.
As Director of our progam management office, your key responsibilities will include:
- Establishment and implementation of effective governance structures required to oversee and manage the team of Program Managers
- Leading a team of Program Managers by setting priorities for engineering, operations, foterring a sense of engagement while motivating the team
- Actively supporting the development of his team members with coaching and challenge in customer understanding, sales, GMs, customer intimacy, technical understanding etc
- Monitoring the functioning of the customer service department in relation to his program and business unit
- Establishment and tracking of KPIs to assess and report programs performance, build and execute recovery plans when needed
How to excel in this role:
- A minimum of 12 years experience leading programs and teams in aerospace industry
- Bachelor of Engineering with MBA as an asset
- Bilingual (written and verbal)
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills – could present to C-Level audience.
- Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment, balance multiple priorities and deadlines
