We are expanding in the USA and are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to manage our Strategic Growth Accounts in the Defense and Commercial Aviation sectors. Reporting to the Head of Americas Sales, you will be a key player in our mission to deliver avionics systems and equipment solutions to key industry stakeholders. As Sales Manager, US, your key responsibilities include:
· Driving business growth by generating and managing a pipeline of qualified opportunities, ensuring alignment with company strategy.
· Achieving or exceeding sales targets, securing new business orders that contribute to CMC’s objectives.
· Managing and growing strategic accounts, ensuring client retention and identifying opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling in collaboration with the Sales & Marketing organization.
· Building and nurturing strong client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor who represents the customer’s needs within CMC.
· Collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver customer satisfaction, offering feedback for product improvements, and supporting targeted marketing efforts.
· Gathering and sharing market intelligence, providing valuable insights to drive strategic decision-making and stay ahead of industry trends.
To join our team, you must:
· University degree in Business Administration or Engineering (dual technical and commercial background preferred).
· 2-5 years of sales experience with demonstrated business acumen and a proven track record of securing and closing large business deals.
· Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry, with a solid understanding of its dynamics and customer needs.
· Exceptional negotiation skills, capable of structuring deals that align with both customer goals and company policies.
· Ability to work seamlessly in a cross-functional, matrixed environment, influencing stakeholders at all levels.
· A results-oriented, adaptable mindset with the ability to drive change within the organization.
· Willingness to travel up to 50% for client meetings, industry events, and trade shows.
· Knowledge of avionics and mission systems is a strong plus.
