Master Planner

As a Master Planner you will have the opportunity to implement processes and controls related to the areas of demand management, planning, forecasting and production at the RCCP level. You will also be responsible for maintaining a valid master production schedule for material and capacity, effectively balancing inventory and demand for all products.
As a Master planner your day-to-day responsibilities will include :
- Analyze the balance between demand and inventory at the product level, determining out-of-balance conditions, identifying alternatives and recommending measures for approval;
- Create a master production schedule that satisfies customer demand with optimal inventory levels and resource utilization. The master production schedule should also be used for detailed material and capacity planning (simulation), as well as financial planning;
- Identify, negotiate and resolve conflicts related to material and capacity availability and order promise integrity;
- Work with contract, program, marketing, finance and manufacturing personnel to better understand competitive product lead times and seek ways to reduce internal and customer lead times;
- Ensure that Manufacturing, Marketing, Contracts, Engineering and Finance use a common master production schedule and forecasted backlog to drive all CMC priorities;
- Maintain a variety of data in the ERP system, including lead times, lot sizes, safety stock, yield factors, etc.
To join our team, you must:
- Bachelor's degree relevant to the position;
- Minimum of 5 years of varied experience in manufacturing, planning, resource leveling and minimum of 2 years in a master planner position.
