Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis

As a Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) reporting to the Accounting Director, you are a key team player contributing to define, produce and control the integrity of the Company’s core financial reports. You will support the company’s financial governance to maintain financial compliance.

 

As a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A, your day-to-day responsibilities include:

 

Financial Reporting & Analysis

 

  • Identify and drive improvements of the existing processes and tools. You deliver improvement projects that enhance your ability to be more agile, accurate, and scalable in your tasks.
  • Deliver on time and accurately monthly, quarterly and year-end statutory and management reporting packages within the applicable timeframe.
  • Deliver analytics as required by senior management, TransDigm and the Finance leadership teams.
  • Maintain all templates, related processes, and documentation necessary to the steady delivery of management reports.
  • Ensure jointly with the Accounting Director that all planning and reporting tasks are clearly assigned to each contributor to FP&A’s reporting deliverables.
  • Track, review with the Director, and file related compliance logs monthly.
  • Collaborate with the Conformity Manager to ensure all tasks fully comply with rules and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the IT Data Manager to ensure maintenance of our templates, databases and tools.
  • Ad-Hoc assignments that may arise to support personal development and CMC’s needs.

 Finance Compliance 

  • Coordinate the Finance teams to perform financials audits with best-in-class results.
  • Act as the main point of contact for internal and external auditors
  • Approves the reconciliation of all general ledger accounts.
  • Manages and coordinates all internal (SOX and operational) and external audits
  • Act as a resource person regarding activities under his/her responsibility for various audits (internal, external).
  • Maintain internal control documentation and responsible for the overall compliance.
  • Approves and monitors all IT accesses to accounting sections of the ERP and network.

 

To join our team, you must hold:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration (BAA).
  • Accounting designation CPA.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting. 
  • 5 years in an FP&A role is an asset.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modelling and data management.
  • Team player, able to manage cross functionally, to lead when not formally in charge.
  • Decisive and autonomous.
  • Bilingual (French & English).
  • Financial accounting experience in management reporting, planning, financial analysis, budgeting and auditing.
  • Data Management skills.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft 365 suite (mainly Excel) and PowerBI.
