Production Supervisor – Printed Circuits Boards (PCB)

Summary

As a Production Supervisor (day shift), you will be responsible for a team in charge of assembling complex printed circuits boards that will be integrated avionics products found in the most advanced commercial and military aircraft. You will be responsible for meeting the delivery goals set by your Manufacturing Manager while ensuring a high level of engagement within your team.

 

As a Production Supervisor your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

 

  • Plan and analyze the monthly work and equipment maintenance to meet the delivery goals, and report on the progress of the orders to the Manufacturing Manager and the Program Manager ;
  • Align your team to achieve departmental performance indicators such as lowering the costs of poor quality (COPQ) and ensuring customer satisfaction ;
  • Establish and maintain a work environment that is engaging, healthy and safe for the team ;
  • Ensure the recruitment, training, development and management of his team ;
  • Ensure the resolution of production problems as quickly as possible and inform customer groups of the impact on delivery times ;
  • Support production process improvement initiatives and carry out continuous improvement projects within his department.

To excel in this role, you must hold:

  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or Administration or other relevant field;
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience supervising or coordinating manufacturing team;
  • Fluent in French and good ability of written & oral communication in English;
  • Good knowledge of Production Resource Planning (MRP);
  • Experience in a unionized environment and with ISO manufacturing processes.
