Production Supervisor - Panels

As the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for a team of operators who perform complex tasks related to the painting and machining of all products manufactured at CMC. These many products are found in the most advanced commercial and military aircraft. You will be achieving delivery and quality objectives set by your Production Manager while ensuring a high level of mobilization within your team.

 

As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible of:

 

  • Plan and analyze monthly work and equipment maintenance in order to achieve delivery objectives, communicate reports on the progress of orders to the Manufacturing Manager as well as to the Program Manager;
  • Align your team to achieve departmental performance indicators such as reducing costs caused by poor quality (COPQ) and ensuring customer satisfaction;
  • Establish and maintain a mobilizing, healthy and safe work environment for his team;
  • Ensure the recruitment, training, development and management of its team;
  • Ensure the resolution of production problems as soon as possible and inform client groups of the impact on delivery times;
  • Support initiatives to improve production processes and carry out continuous improvement projects within his department.

 

 

To excel in this role, you must possess:

 

  • A university certificate in operations management or the equivalent AND a minimum of five (5) years of experience in an electronics manufacturing team, including at least three (3) years in supervision or coordination of a unionized team;
  • Fluent in French and English, spoken and written;
  • Good knowledge of health and safety standards;
  • Good knowledge of production resource planning (MRP);
  • Experience in a unionized work environment and ISO manufacturing processes;
  • Good knowledge of everything related to hazardous materials.
