As an Professional in Industrial Engineering your key responsibilities include:
You will play a key role in the performance of our production operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Design factory layouts to optimize flow and space and coordinate their implementation
- Analyze material flows to identify bottlenecks, waste, and inefficiencies, and implement improvements
- Balance lines and workstation tasks
- Train teams in new processes and provide technical support
- Lead integration of new equipment projects, from selection to implementation
- Reduce manufacturing costs for various products by analyzing production yields and implementing improvements
- Select appropriate technologies to improve manufacturing performance
- Use tools such as 5S, problem-solving processes, kanban, etc. to improve production performance
- Write the technical documentation required for production
To excel in this role, you must have:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Possess at least 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment focused on continuous improvement
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of AutoCAD software or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the Windows environment.
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma, achievements in process optimization.
- Proven ability to lead technical projects, mobilize teams, and generate measurable operational performance gains
- Must be comfortable developing action plans, managing projects, and providing training.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Possesses and demonstrates leadership, strong organizational skills, and a results-oriented approach
- Customer-focused, with a desire to provide quality service to production teams
- Critical thinking and ability to constructively challenge established practices
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Team spirit and ability to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (French and English).
