The GNSS engineering team designs top-tier systems and software for its clients. You will apply and maintain various testing standards required by the avionics domain while contributing to the advancement of GNSS industry practices

As a Software Tester, you will report to the GNSS Engineering Manager. You will participate in planning, developing, and executing software tests to ensure the quality and compliance of developed avionics products.

 

As a Software Tester your key responsibilities include:

  • Contribute to the development of new avionics software solutions in accordance with company standards and industry methodologies.
  • Develop and implement various testing strategies to validate software, including system, software, and hardware/software integration tests, as well as analysis.
  • Develop software drivers to interface with various peripherals used in automated test setups.
  • Participate in all phases of software testing: requirements review, test case definition, implementation, execution, and documentation.
  • Solve technical challenges related to both emerging and existing technologies.

To join our team, you must:

  • Familiarity with software configuration systems.
  • Familiarity with requirements management systems (e.g., DOORS).
  • Knowledge of the DO-178 certification process.
  • Familiarity with communication protocols (RS-232, RS-422, A-429, Ethernet, etc.).
  • Familiarity with satellite positioning systems.
  • Experience in avionics software development and Windows application development.

To excel in this role, you must have:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Be familiar with C programming.
  • Have knowledge of hardware and software interfaces.
  • Possess strong analytical skills for test analysis and development.
  • Be bilingual – French and English.
